Bodog Poker has recently become one of the biggest poker rooms on the internet. It's easy to see why, they have a great site and the user interface is very nice and a bit different to all the others with some cool features. For example you can change the felt color and see some useful information and statistics about the game, as well as play multiple screens for those of you who can concentrate on more than one game at a time.
Bodog is a highly respected and trusted site, it is registered in Antigua and at the time of writing accepts poker players from all countries other than Canada. Top poker players like Evelyn Ng, David Williams and Josh Arieh are on the payroll, you'll get the chance to meet them and beat them on the site and if you do beat them - you're in for a big payday!
Bodog has a new players invitational freeroll tournament that you qualify for without even making your first real money deposit, so if you don't have a Bodog account yet it's got to be worth signing up for that alone. Also there's a couple of rebuy freerolls going on every day. Now opinion is split on these types of tournaments, on one hand some people think they are a good thing as they raise the overall prize pool, while on the other hand others don't like them because they aren't freerolls in the strictest sense of the word as there is money involved.
Me? - I LOVE them! I think it is a tremendous way to get the prize pool up to a decent amount that is worth winning. The thing is, if you play the game right you let the OTHER players build up the prize pot by chipping in their rebuys, while you sit quietly and take in the cash! Ask yourself this - why do they keep needing to rebuy? Is it because they are great poker players?
No! So use your brain and let the rebuyers build you a nice pot to take down.
