The
latest Love-Texas-Holdem private freeroll is set for next
Sunday, March 25th at 17:00 EST. The game will take place at Vegas Poker 247. I'm
excited about this new partnership because they have told me
that if we keep increasing player numbers at the freerolls, they
will keep increasing the prize fund.
To sign up for the freeroll, you need to follow these simple instructions:
1. Go to Vegas Poker 247.
2. Download the poker client and sign up for an account.
3. Login and click on the "Tourneys" tab, then under Tourneys click the "Freeroll".
4.
Look for the "LoveTexasHoldem" tournament #1456071, it's
sorted by date so ours is at 3/25 17:00
5. Sign up using the password: baker
Again, EVERYONE is welcome at Vegas Poker 247. That's all, see you at the table and good luck!
While
you're there, take a look around Vegas Poker 247. It has shown a
real growth in player numbers since the US player ban and it is
easy to see why. Based on the same table format as Poker Room
(the only difference being that the theme is blue instead of
green), Vegas Poker 247 is a great site to play at.
And
there's a FREE $10 available for depositing players who make any
deposit into their account before March 31st, see the site for
full details. They accept credit cards, ePassporte, Click2Pay and
Western Union for US customers and Neteller for Non-US
customers.
To
give you an idea of the level of player activity on the site, I
signed up for a freeroll the other night as it was just
starting, there were over 3000 players in it even although the
prize money wasn't all that great. But here's the thing - it was limit
Omaha that they were playing instead of the usual No-limit texas
holdem. I enjoyed the game and I did well even although I had
only played limit Omaha a couple of times before and it took a
few hands to realize what I was supposed to be doing!
Anyway,
there are a lot of freerolls available throughout the day at
Vegas Poker 247 and it is certainly worth a visit. You might also
be interested in their blackjack tables, you can play yourself
or in multi-player mode.

Superior Poker is a US friendly poker site
with a few daily freerolls which are very popular considering
the relatively small size of the site. They are spread through
the day between 2:00am and 9:30pm EST so there's always one on
the tournament section of your desktop poker client.
See the schedule of freerolls in the poker freeroll timetable below.
Right
now at Superior Poker there's a fantastic WPT package that you
can win your way to for only 10 cents. Here's the details of this
unbelievable prize:
- Buy-in to the WPT World Championship - $25,000 + $500
- Your airfare paid to the event for two people
- Accommodation for you and your partner at the Las Vegas's famous Bellagio Hotel
- 2007 Dodge Viper to use during your stay
You
really can win all that for 10 cents. For that you get entry to a
Stage 1 of a 5 player tournament where the winner gets a "Copper
Chip". This chip is an entry to Stage 2 of the tournament. Win
that and you get 4 Copper Chips, which gets you into Stage 3.
Carry on winning your stages and you get to go to Vegas!
Here's the tournament schedule:
Stage Plrs BuyIn Cash BuyIn Tokens Winner
1 5 $0.10+$0.05 1 Copper
2 6 $0.55+$0.05 1 Copper 3 Copper
3 6 $1.50+$0.05 3 Copper 15 Copper
4 10 $7.00+$0.70 15 Copper 136 Copper
5 6 $630+$5 136 Copper 750 Copper

7b 2 $1600+$100 3400 Copper 6400 Copper
8 10 $3000+$200 6400 Copper WPT Package!
The
prizes for each stage is an entry to the next one, so it can be
done! You can of course buy into any stage rather than win your
way to it but if you're short of cash or like things extremely
cheap or free, start with the 10 cent option.
Promotion runs until April 1st 2007.

he
good news for US poker players is that you are welcome at
Pitbull Poker! I checked with the support to confirm it and they
told me Americans are able to play on the site.
Pitbull
Poker claims to be the world's first ever all-flash poker room.
There's no download required, the game runs entirely in flash in your
browser. I didn't find it a problem at all, it loaded fairly
quickly and there's never going to be any of those annoying
delays while the software is updated, you will always be
accessing the latest version of the software as it is held on
Pitbull Poker's own server.
And
the good news for all poker freeroll lovers is that there is a
freeroll on Pitbull Poker every single hour, on the half-hour
(1:30, 2:30, 3:30 etc). They also run leagues that you can join
or even set up a private league with your friends.
There's
also a nice $10 bonus in free money added to your account as
well as 100% instant match bonus. Check the site for full details.

GNUF
Poker might well be a new name to you but if you live outside of
the USA I've got some great news about freerolls for you. GNUF (it
might be short for "good enough") have some great poker freerolls
going on with prize funds of up to $1000.
Unfortunately
for US players this is a site which has decided to bow to the
pressure of the US online gaming legislation and does not accept
players from USA.
For
the rest, well GNUF looks like a really good site for freerolls.
I signed up for a $1000 tourney within minutes of registering my
new account. No hassle and no bogus qualifying stuff - this is a
true freeroll site.
There
were 12,000 places available in the freeroll and I can tell you
there was a lot of interest, with about 3000 places being filled
in the first 10 minutes. Final player count was 7944. Game play
is fast and furious and there are a lot of all-ins early on as
you'd expect.
The graphics aren't the most inspiring with no avatars or player images but everything else is very well done.
So
although this is a new site it has become very popular very
quickly, even with the restriction of not having US based players.
Brighter
news now for Americans - and everybody else for that matter -
I'm going to be running a Love-Texas-Holdem exclusive tournament
soon. This is for members only and is by way of thanking you for
reading this newsletter.
I
also have a possibility of a much larger value tournament with
the same people that run the freeroll, but I will need the help
of you, the members. More details of these two exclusive
tournaments to follow in the coming weeks.
