There's another freeroll available for the rest, ie US players. It's a $500 no-requirements game (anyone can just sign up and play!)
There's around 200 places left so get there as soon as you can.
We start the new year with good news - bad news.
Unfortunately for you guys in America under the Bush administration it's bad news, for the rest it's good - very good in fact!
If you're looking for something to do tonight and you had enough New Year's drink and revelry last night, what better than a $5000 freeroll to start off the year in style.
As well as a $1000 to prize, there are some interesting bonuses being awarded that are related to today's UK Premiership football. I'll say no more than this, if you finish 15th or 25th you get an extra $100 - and there is another bonus to be added depending on how the Man United game goes.
At the moment there are only 1500 signups out of 6000 places so everyone can play.
Go to the site, sign up if you are not yet registered, the game can be found under the Multi Table Tournament >> Special folder.

VIP Poker is a new name on the poker scene but one that I think you'll be hearing a lot more about. There's some great action and some of the best bonuses around. VIP look like they are here to stay and are intent on becoming a big player in the online poker stakes.

Tower Poker have a wide variety of poker games, there's Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo, and Five Card Draw as well as the favorites, Limit and No Limit Texas Holdem.
Right now there's a great sign-up bonus waiting for you - just click the banner below for details.
Tower also run some small low value freerolls that don't seem to have much of an entry, giving you a much better chance of winning. The table looks just like Poker Room so you know the graphics are great.

If you've been playing online poker freerolls for a while, you will no doubt have noticed the changes that have taken place over the last couple of months. These have been as a result of the USA's ban on internet gambling which has prevented US players from playing poker at the majority of big online poker sites.
There are some sites benefiting from the new ruling, the ones which are still accepting US based players. These tend to be based offshore and do not see the need to comply with any American laws. The only problem being that the US players tend to have difficulty in using their credit card to make deposits to these sites.
The bottom line is that the freerolls have been hit - and hit hard. Poker Room for example once had $1500 and $1000 tournaments, these are now at a pretty miserable $100.
The good news is that there are still some decent freerolls around. You might have to work a little bit harder to get into them by playing some hands at regular tables, but this is very easy to achieve and well worth doing to get into a big freeroll.
Here's details of a fantastic $15,000 freeroll coming soon at Poker Heaven.
The tournament is at 18:00 on December 23rd, just after you (hopefully) have all your Christmas shopping finished and your presents wrapped up. You can sit back and win yourself some big cash to spend in the sales!
The top prize is a whopping $2,250, and 1 in every 5 entrants to the game is going to be paid out. So as I mentioned earlier there is a small condition in that you need to have played 250 raked hands but I promise you this is a lot easier than it sounds.
To do this effectively without losing money, play minimum stakes tables and sit back until you have BIG hands. Then play aggressively to either take down the pot by forcing the other players out of the hand or beat them in a showdown. Stick to this strategy and as well as covering your 250 hands, you will be in profit.
Places are limited so I suggest you get cracking and start playing those raked hands today.
