TJ CloutierTJ Cloutier (Pronounced Cloo-tee-ay) is one of the most well known and well loved tournament poker players. His years of experience and skill show in all of his wins. He grew up in Daly City, California. After graduating from high school he was given a scholarship in baseball and football to University of California at Berkeley. But his mother got sick and he had to help make the medical bill payments so TJ had to drop out of school. A few years later, he found himself drafted into the army, it was here that he learned to play and honed his poker skills.
After years of businesses and working, T J Cloutier found himself in Texas working and played poker on his days off. Being as good as he was, he soon realized that he could make more money playing poker, something he loved, than working at a regular job. He began to play tournaments and fashioned his poker career. TJ’s career is vast. He has played many types of poker games, and excelled. A very brief description of his wins includes these titles. He has won five World Series of Poker bracelets. He is ranked 5th on the All Time List. On the World Series of Poker All Time Money list, TJ is ranked 5th. His wins include over $4,000,000. His largest money win was almost $900,000 at the World Series of Poker $10,000 World Championship No Limit Texas Hold’em in May of 2000.
